Just read about this cool project by Koinup: 3D Wallpapers

Basically they're collecting the best images of virtual worlds and games and turning them in wallpapers for an upcoming mobile app that will be available on several mobile operators.

I think that the value of this initiative is that it brings contents, images, fanart inspired by virtual worlds and videogames to a new level. So, kudos to Koinup!

In order to pick the best images. Koinup launched a couple of contest, the first is for Second Life Snapshots, the other is for picking the best avatars.

We have picked one absolute Winner and one honorary mention for any virtual world involved (The Sims, Second Life, IMVU)

Indeed, The Sims is not a virtual worlds, but the community is so active and creative, that I thought to include girls created within The Sims in the Pageant
